The biomed startup ecosystem in Hongneung is made up of a concentrated cluster of research organizations, hospitals, and universities, such as the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), Korea Institute for Advanced Study, Korea University Anam Hospital, and Kyung Hee University Medical Center, centered around Seoul Biohub. With this setup, the area has a massive potential to become a new hub for the new growing biomedical industry and its startups.
